How Can You Help?
We are always looking for new volunteers to help us with our mission. There are many ways to pitch in - from answering the phone to assembling gift baskets, from office chores to event planning. Whether you can give us a few hours or a whole day, we can use your help. Need hours for a service project? We can help. Need to get out of the house for a few hours? We'll welcome you with open arms. Because there is much need out there, we have much need in here. Please contact Kari for more information.
No one but you has walked in your shoes. No one knows the pain of your loss more than you. Yet your experience is of critical value to us. You've made a journey no one wishes for, but that journey has given you the knowledge that can't be taught - that road must be traveled. You can offer those just beginning their journey encouragement, hope, and promise. Nobody can do it as well as you, and that's why we need you. If you've been a widow for at least one year and would like to help us, please contact Liane for more information.
Have you worked with widows and estate settlements in your practice? If you're a Certified Financial Planner professional and have been in practice for at least five years, we'd like to talk to you. This is pro bono work, but it may be the most rewarding work you've ever done. As the relationship matures, this initial work may lead to additional fee-for-service work. You will be paired with a Widow Advocate - experienced widow - who will manage the case. Please contact Chris for more information.
