Do You Need a Professional?
Wings for Widows will help you build confidence to make important financial decisions and take control of your financial wellness. But there is a limit to what we can provide, so often we need to rely on established partners and other trusted professionals for help.
These professionals have been vetted by us. We know they have the credentials, the experience, and a giving heart to get the work completed. These services are usually provided for a fee, but most professionals discount them in order to work with us. If it is clear that a widow can’t afford these services without hardship, Wings for Widows will make every attempt to help manage the cost of such services.
Many books have been written to help the bereaved get their life back on track after losing a significant other. However, the idea that the best way to do this is to read a book is, well, impractical. The transition from married life to widowhood and on to a new future is complicated, on top of being profoundly painful. Grieving and numb, the last thing a widow or widower should try to do is digest hundreds of pages of information and then march ahead on their own. It just doesn’t work that way. You need to work hand-in-hand with knowledgeable professionals.
You may have your own financial advisor or estate planning attorney. You may have worked with a CPA for years. If so, we encourage you to continue to work with them! Please don't go it alone - the decisions ahead will be easier with professional advice.
However, if you don't have these trusted relationships, we can help. Please use the form below to request our Referred Services Directory for financial, legal, tax and other service professionals who will help you regain financial wellness.
